To comply with existing Association Bylaws, Affiliate memberships are required for all employees/non-members of record of Builder and Associate member companies who wish to participate on member councils, and to enjoy member pricing for events. A paid council membership is also required for individuals who wish to be part of member councils. One must be a member to be eligible for council membership(s). Definition of a member: there are 3 Member Types at MBAKS: (1) Builder Member (there is 1 member of record), (2) Associate Member (there is 1 member of record), and (3) Affiliate Member [an employee of member company]. Existing council members will need to ensure that they (individually) are one of the three member types before January 1, 2024, to remain a council member. All new council memberships will require the person to be one of the three member types.
